“A visual catalog for jewelry, bead artists and crafters who will relish the opportunity to have so many ideas at their fingertips to inspire their own projects. This book is the second volume of Quarry’s 1,000 series–an eye candy-laden follow-up to the very successful 1,000 Artist Trading Cards” (Quarry, Spring 2007).
Yes, it is one huge buffet of jewelry inspiration and examples. I absolutely loved this book and am still kicking myself for not submitting to it. WOW!
It’s not a project book, although there are brief step by step instructions in the back. This is mainly meant to be eye candy. There are so many wonderful pieces in the book that I could not possibly detail them all here. 300+ pages of gorgeous color photographs of jewelry that range from wirework, beadwork, metal work, polymerclay, found object and everything inbetween. Great to have on hand and stir up some creativity. Go get a copy and browse thru it, you’ll find lots to love too.
