I recently was browsing the Jelly Yarn website to get some of their cool plastic yarn to use in a project. While there I noticed a section for free patterns with a picture of the coolest crochet circles on it. I had to click and a pattern popped up for crocheted keychains as seen in Knit 1 magazine.

The discs are SOOO cool crocheted in brightly colored plastic yarn! They used them as key chains, but I would use them as super MOD pendants!!!!  You could make them in different sizes and make a bib necklace or make bigger ones and do up a low hip slung belt out of them.
