A new Lark Books giveaway

This giveaway features three more exciting titles from Lark – Metalworking 101 for Beaders by Candie Cooper, Metal Clay Origami Jewelry by Sara Jayne Cole, and Jewelry Design Challenge by Linda Kopp. If you’ve had a chance to browse any of these titles you will know they are filled with inspiration! I learned about Metal Clay Sheet, which unlike other precious metal clay won’t dry out as water evaporates from the clay. Metal Clay Sheet stays flexible until fired so that origami magic is possible! Metalworking for Beaders will take you further into jewelry making - tools, techniques, and supplies you’ll need to begin fabrication of components in metal. And finally for this giveaway, Jewelry Design Challenge shows you the versatility of 9 simple elements in the hands of 30 gifted jewelry artists with their own wildcard thrown into the mix.

    Lark books are awesome! Most people buy books from a favorite author, but I buy from my favorite publisher (Lark). The books are wonderfully written with super photos. I would be excited to win these books.

    These books all sound interesting. I was very intrigued by the idea of metal clay, as I had never heard of it. I read about it on wikipedia and realized you need a kiln or a blowtorch to fire the clay when you are finished sculpting. Apparently you can also use a gas stovetop, which I also don’t have. I’d love to try this…now I just need a kiln, or maybe I could just take it over to my sisters and use her gas stovetop. Reading about metal clay on wikipedia only made me more interested.
