Review and giveaway: A Bounty of Bead and Wire Earrings

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, winter officially began yesterday. If the winter blues have already dampened your creativity, Lark Jewelry & Beading has put together a collection of 50 of their best beautiful earring projects you’ll be inspired to create. A Bounty of Bead + Wire Earrings will give you all the basics along with step-by-step instructions to help you create each project in the book. You’ll even get to see photographs of earrings from all over the globe for multicultural inspiration as well!

     It’s the New Year and I’ve been promising myself for many years that I want to start making jewelry for myself and friends. (I have long been collecting beads and gemstones and other supplies in preparation for this day.

     I come from a long line of Swedish and German jewelers (especially beading pearls and beads for necklaces and bracelets.) I’d love to do them proud and winning this would be my launch pad! Thanks for the giveaway!

     I have been getting into making crafts and had a partner originally in my website, who did jewelry and recently left me high and dry but at the same time I’ve been having customers for the jewelry ask me if I’ve been thinking of making jewelry as well as bows. This would be a perfect opportunity to start My grandmother used to make intricate necklaces to send to her friends in Germany for years and this would also be a good way of preserving the heritage.
