It’s the New Year and I’ve been promising myself for many years that I want to start making jewelry for myself and friends. (I have long been collecting beads and gemstones and other supplies in preparation for this day.

I come from a long line of Swedish and German jewelers (especially beading pearls and beads for necklaces and bracelets.) I’d love to do them proud and winning this would be my launch pad! Thanks for the giveaway!

  146. Christina Marrufo on January 3, 2012 9:56 pm

I have been getting into making crafts and had a partner originally in my website, who did jewelry and recently left me high and dry but at the same time I’ve been having customers for the jewelry ask me if I’ve been thinking of making jewelry as well as bows. This would be a perfect opportunity to start :) My grandmother used to make intricate necklaces to send to her friends in Germany for years and this would also be a good way of preserving the heritage.

I am completely obsessed with beautiful earrings, and I nearly screamed when I saw this post for your contest!
