State Line Bag Co. recently sent several Craft Gossip editors a few of their cotton drawstring bags to try. I received three that are the perfect size to use as a travel pouch to hold jewelry — or a new beading project you want to take on the go.

I had a few goodies from EK Success Brands left over from our first Fork and Talk event that I thought would be perfect tucked inside these durable little bags. A recent weekend trip to the beach had me in a surf-filled state of mind, so I also threw in some shell beads and some beads made from grass.

To decorate the bags, I stamped them with travel inspired images and filled them with goodies. Now you can win one of these bags along with a smaller sized bag from State Line that you can decorate.

    HOME! We travel, alot, and when we do get the chance to take a break. No place is better than home. Know that sounds corny, but when you are rarely there, its the best place to go on holiday.

    I’ve had many wonderful trips to other countries, and to cities in the USA. I’d be happy to return to just about any of them. In the US, I love to visit Chicago. But, of all the places I’ve been, I long to return to Paris the most. Last time I was there I found a wonderful bead shop. Love these bags as a gift idea!! Even printing designs on the bags looks like a fun craft idea.

    Favorite travel destination? I have to go with “any New England or Maritime province beach.” Sand, driftwood, too many rocks, mussel shells, grey water, grey skies… *sigh*. Hard to explain the appeal of it, but it makes my heart sing.

    Right now I would call any place a good spot if I can get there without a lot of pain. My back is giving me fits again and the pills are not working. If you have back problems then you know what I mean. You did a great job with the bags. Thanks for the giveaway, lots of luck to every one.

    I always love traveling to the Southwest (US). The desert feels like an exotic place to me (I grew up in the humid, lush South), and I love the dryness of it.

    These bags are so cute! I love going to any woodsy-mountain area. There is just something about the clean, fresh smell of the air and the beauty of the tress that automatically lowers my blood pressure. I think I need to move to a place like that. Who knows, maybe I wouldn’t have a need for doctors anymore :)

    I love to go to Devils Den State Park in Arkansas, I am very much into decorating with natural materials and can always find beautiful leaves, rocks, twigs and vines to use in crafting and decor.

    I just wanted to say “Thank You” for the bags and goodies! The bags are wonderful and everyone in the family are fighting over who gets what…I finally hid them, I will give them as stocking stuffers for Christmas I think!
