cover art for Jewelry Design Challenge and Prefab Jewelry These titles from Lark Jewelry & Beading are older, but still sure to inspire!

Jewelry Design Challenge: 10 Materials, 30 Artists, 30 Spectacular Projects by Linda Kopp challenged artists to make jewelry with 9 supplies they were given and a wildcard they were allowed to choose. What a variety of approaches from 30 artists! Now you can make their designs or take the challenge for yourself. (See the contest winners at Lark Jewelry & Beading.)

Prefab Jewelry: Easy Projects Using Readymade Parts by Marthe Le Van will teach you to turn ordinary hardware and manufactured metal supplies into contemporary and stylish jewelry. With a few basic skills explained in this book, you’ll learn what’s needed to transform ordinary parts into spectacular jewelry of your own.
