Sunday June 15th is Fathers Day here in the US. Why not give the man in your life a great piece of jewelry instead of a tie, socks or fishing pole. Men’s jewelry is pretty easy to make. Generally its more ‘simple’ then womens, but chunkier. Think leather or rubber cords, chunky chains, heavy metals, wood and even stones like jade, granite and tigereye. Cufflinks are super easy to make, like our friends Cathy & Steve over at Creative Juice show you here. You can get creative with some Legos, make some shrink plastic pendants or take a drill to a small gaming figure. whatever your guy is into, you can make something personal for them.
If you are still stumped, I’ve included some of my premade online favorites I’ve found to help you get the idea.
I love just about everything from Blacksheep & Prodigal Son. It is not cheap, but it is definately cool, like this scrimshaw pendant made of an antique, recycled ivory piano key.
