My daughter is always getting craft kits as gifts, which is fine except we do so much craft anyways that sitting down to do an actual kit is kind of redundant on her. She is also a lazy crafter and the thought of threading pony beads on to a string is way to monotonous for her. So what am I left with? a heap of colored plastic beads that are not suitable for anything other than a necklace for a 2 year old. I love this tutorial on melting them down to create different elements. It’s a great way to let your tween or teen totally rock those cheap beads and create something original and unique.
