If you live in New York City, then you may already know about the Jewelry Arts Institute. I was lucky enough to hear about JAI through Jeanette Caines who says, “we at Jewelry Arts Institute have been teaching students to create fine jewelry for over 30 years.”
Located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, JAI has about a 5:1 student-instructor ratio, which guarantees one on one instruction in the classics of jewelry making techniques such as granulation, chain weaving, and enameling. As you can see from the beauty of pieces created by JAI’s instructors, there is no shortage of creativity or knowledge here.
