Cindy Edelstein has posted information on her blog Jewelry Business Guru about Johnson Matthey, the leading supplier of semi-fabricated platinum jewelry products in the US, and the design competition they have launched—the Johnson Matthey Sustainable Design Award. The competition seeks to encourage emerging designers to build their portfolio using platinum and sustain the use of platinum in jewelry in North America.
The entry deadline is November 25, 2010, and the winners will be announced at an invitation-only award party to be held during MJSA’s Expo New York in March 2011. Three winners (based on the most creative design) will receive prizes totaling more than $30,000 in value.
Jewelry Business Guru has all the details for this competition. Good luck to all the entrants and happy creating!
