Take a look at these “tree stump necklaces” from Aja Engel. Aren’t they as beautiful as they are clever? Looking at Aja’s work on her blog, Aja Engel Designs, I feel her background in printmaking shining through.
Aja describes her work, “industrial design of the cityscapes and grid like forms are juxtaposed with the organic textures and flowing patterns of nature.” The textures, patinas, and undulating forms make Aja’s work really lovely. Spend a few minutes with Aja Engel Design today and see for yourself. I’m looking forward to seeing more of Aja’s work in her Etsy shop soon!

These are GORGEOUS! Unfortunately, I cannot locate them for sale either on her site or in her Etsy shop! 🙁

I read in her Twitter feed that she’s been busy making wedding jewelry for a friend and entering a new ring for Lark Books’ new 500 Rings. I bet she’ll have more stuff in her Etsy store soon. 🙂

Leslie,
I sold out of the necklaces but will be making more of them soon. Your post made me realize there was no way to contact me on my website. I’ve added links to my facebook & email on ajaengel.com now. Email me & we can chat about the necklaces 😉
Thanks for the interest!!!
