Etsy Shop Feature: Craftpon

May 22, by Mardi Robyn.

Craftpon

Craftpon is a new wholesale supply shop that opened on Etsy March 13th, 2013.  Their office is based out of Hong Kong.   In their shop you will find a variety of craft supplies at low, low prices.  Nothing is over $20.oo

Their promotional items are $0.20! Yes you read that right!  That is a good price!

Craftpon sells buttons, ribbons, embellishments, cameo flatbacks, beads, trim, findings, and more.

As I looked through the pages of listings in their etsy shop my imagination began creating jewelry with their supplies.  Earrings out of colorful buttons, charm bracelets using button shanks, hair clips, flower rings, and so much more.  Use your imagination, the possibilities are many!

Craftpon has a customer satisfaction rating of 100%.    This month Craftpon was selected Craft Supplies Supplier at Etsy Craft Party 2013

Take a look at their shop, I believe you will find something you like that sparks your imagination and beckons you to purchase for use in one of your next craft projects!

Watch out for the shipping charges! My five 20¢ items were $8.50 to ship, with the shipping cost increasing 70¢ to $1 every time I added a 20¢ item. Not much of a deal.

As a jewelry designer myself I am always looking for a good deal aka ‘cheap’, however etsy is known for handcrafted items not mass produced. As many jewelry people are also making beads and assorted supplies it would be nice to support the small business person. That being said I have on occasion bought from sources in China. But I am trying to wean myself from the habit by remembering that cheap does not always equate with quality.

I agree with you. I myself buy from both types of suppliers, small business, and mass produced!
