Its November, and there’s a crispness in the air

November 3, by Barbe Saint John.

and with a new month comes a new feature on Jewelrymaking.craftgossip.com. November is the month I’ll be doing interviews with jewelry makers to inspire you to create more.

November is also the month of Thanksgiving for us Americans, so its a month of GRATITUDE.  So we’ll be posting about some things we are grateful for in the world of jewelry making.

My first post is:  I’m grateful to find that Walgreens has toaster ovens for only $10!!! I’ve been wanting to get one to use for crafting but they were always over $20 at athrift stores and they were all dirty..YUCK! So I’ve been putting it off. Then I went over to the small walgreens by my apt, and low and behold they had a number of models and the cheapest one was only $10!!!!

An inexpensive toaster oven is invaluable to polymer clay artists but also for PMC artists to dry the clay before firing, and for resin artists. I’m using mine to help cure my resin pieces!!!!   Resin can take forever to cure in cold/damp weather so I am so happy to get this and cut my cure time way down!!!!
