Wubbers Review

August 30, by Mardi Robyn.

Wubbers

Have you heard of Wubbers?   A funny name with serious tools for your jewelry making needs.  The name wubbers came from the initials of a company called Wired Up Beads, which is now a division of Wubbers.

I have to say, I like the name!  Say it out loud a couple of times! I like how it rolls off the tongue. It is a catchy name!

Wubbers was created by Patti Bullard, Ph.d.    Patti is experienced in a variety of jewelry making techniques and founded the tools that make up the Wubber brand to help make jewelry making easy for the experienced and inexperienced jewelry designers.

You can read more about Patti Bullard and Wubbers by reading their about page, here.

Wubbers carries a variety of unique tools specially designed to aid the jewelry maker, not hinder! Tools like,

Looping Pliers — good for wrapping looks, and making eye-pins.

Triangle Mandrels — good for making perfect triangle shapes.

Square Mandrels — good for making perfect squares.

Oval Mandrels — good for making perfect oval shapes.

Round Mandrels — good for making perfect round shapes, bezels, tubes, and jump rings.

Classic Wubbers –guaranteed to be able to use on both heavy and fine wire, no more changing pliers between designs.

Baby Wubbers –silky smooth finish that won’t damage your wire.

Click on each name to take you to see pictures and read descriptions of each one. Or you can click here and see thumbnails of each tool available.

These tools are just as cute as their name, Wubbers, no joke!  Who would have thought a tool could be cute!

Wubbers also offers a variety of free online classes, but I will save that for another post!

Check out the website www.Wubbers.com and be fascinated by their uniquely designed tools!
