Art Jewelry Exhibit - Anna S. King

Velvet da Vinci Gallery, San Francisco’s premeire Art Jewelry Gallery is showing new works by renowned Scottish fiber artist Anna S. King. This is her first one-person exhibition in the US and will not disappoint. Using natural and recycled materials such as jute, feathers, pine needles, linen, plastic and raffia she creates jewelry, baskets and assemblages. Her work is stunningly gorgeous. Underlying all of King’s work is her fascination with words and text, which form the basis from which she derives her inspiration and ideas.
There will be an Artist Reception on Fri, June 27 from 6-8pm, and an Artist talk on Sat, June 28 6pm,
